Just a Reminder - PE Kit & School Uniform

PE is a statutory and essential part of our curriculum. It develops essential physical skills but also improves memory, focus, motor skills and mental health, as well as building social skills and boosting self-esteem.

However, not having the correct or full PE kit may result in your child not being able to fully participate in all sporting activities we offer. Also, inappropriate/fashionable or non-fitting footwear may be a health and safety issue.

PE kits are coming home this afternoon for Easter. Please could you ensure your child has a full, fitting  and appropriate PE kit (kit list can be found on the website - beautifully modelled by the pupils in our photo) kept in school all week where possible, so children can take full advantage of the lovely outdoor weather, and lots of other ad-hoc sporting opportunities the Summer term will bring.

If you have any spare PE kit, we would be grateful for donations for those children who may have forgotten.

Just a reminder, with warmer weather round the corner, children may prefer to wear our summer uniform of a blue gingham dress or skirt (they may prefer to wear navy shorts underneath) and grey shorts. Long hair should be tied back and up with blue, plain hair accessories, earrings should be plain and studded and footwear should be flat, fully supporting, plain dark shoes (not trainers or plimsols). Please could all jewellery and smartwatches be kept at home.

We would like to thank you for preparing your child to be ready to take full advantage of every learning opportunity.

Uniform is available online from My Clothing or in person from Cross Embroidery in Banbury.
