This week we chose our very first Handwriting Heroes and awarded them certificates in Assembly (special pencils and stickers to come!). One child from each class was chosen for making amazing progress with their letter formation and joining. Handwriting is such an important life skill, it not only improves fine motor skills but also increases writing speed and output and supports spelling and phonics.
