Years one and two enjoyed a shared harvest feast last Friday afternoon.  Year one learned all about knife and kitchen safety then chopped a variety of seasonal veg for a hearty soup.  Year 2 prepared bread rolls to bring to the feast.  We all gathered together in the hall and sat together to enjoy the bounty of God's harvest.  All the children tried the soup, even those who claimed they were not keen on vegetables: this made Mrs Catling and Mrs Rickard very proud indeed. It was a soup-er occasion with music, laughter and prayer at its heart.
