This week, Years 5 and 6 had the pleasure of meeting a Muslim Named Muhaned. He spoke to the children about Islamic beliefs and explained the day to day life of a Muslim.

As part of our Multi-Faith Week, Years 3 and 4 visited the Hindu Temple in Neasden. Good Shepherd Assembly

The children have being preparing for Lent and thinking about their Lenten promises. The Good Shepherd boxes have been sent home this week.
Sing Up Afternoon

On Wednesday 3rd February, the whole school took part in the National Sing Up afternoon. We worked in different groups and learnt different songs. After that, we all gathered together in the school hall and sang all of the songs together. We had songs from movies, response songs, pop and songs in a round. It was a fabulous experience. My favourite song was probably Roar! By Cheska, Year 5
Dignity in Action Day

On 1st February, we visited the residents of Cornish Care Home to ask them questions about their lives, both now, and when they were younger. Here are some of our questions and the residents responses: Benji (Y5): What is he most scariest thing you have ever seen or heard? Arthur: The bodies of men, women and children in the war, after the bombs had been dropped. Thomas (Y5): How has the world changed since you were little? Henry: Faster trains, electricity, people travelling to foreign countries and people seem to be more miserable these days!
