Didn’t we have a lovely time, the day we went to Weston?  We certainly did!

The sun shone down on us and great fun was had by all.

We began our day on the beach building sand sculptures before going into combat with the seagulls at lunchtime.  Fortunately we had our secret weapon – Mrs Taylor with her famous umbrella, who did an admirable job of keeping them all at bay!

We then headed off to Seaquarium on the pier and met our tour guide, Matthew, who took us on a whistle stop tour of the aquatic wonders of the world.  He was very impressed with the children’s prior knowledge,  searching  questions and was particularly complimentary about their behaviour.

We enjoyed spending our money in the gift shop before heading back to the beach.

There, the children enjoyed rides on the donkeys and swing boats and some enjoyed a session on the bouncy castle.

The hot day ended with a well-deserved ice cream to cool us all down!

We all clambered back onto the coach, hot, sticky and exhausted, but full of stories and happy reflections on a fabulous day out!
