As a reward for all their hard work over this academic year, the Year 6 children were treated to a day at the Cotswolds Water Park on Tuesday. Their WOW day really was WOW! Children participated in a full day of sailing, S.U.P (stand up paddle boarding) and kayaking. For many of us it was the first time that we had tried any of these water sports and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was great fun-we weren’t deterred when our sailing boat capsized, or when we had to stand up in our kayaks and jump as high as we could. Even the game to see how many children we could get on a paddleboard proved to be highly entertaining. Needless to say, the inevitable happened and we all ended up in the water. The day finished with jetty jumping (and we may have pushed a few teachers in too – sorry Mrs Smart)!
