Community Arts Project

6 February 2017

The school has secured some funding for a Community Arts Project, and yesterday Mrs Smart, Reuben and I (as part of the JLT) went over to the Cornish Care Home to interview a panel of artists. We were looking for a suitable artist to work alongside the school, and residents of the Care Home, to design and make a stained glass window to be displayed in the school and the Care Home. Swimming Gala

18 January 2017

This week has been a wonderful week for our swimmers. On Wednesday, our Year 5 & 6 children competed in the Partnership Swimming Gala. They won two of their heats and qualified for all four finals, of which they won two and came second in two, amazing!! Unfortunately, Kingham won the overall competition by the narrowest of points. Well done to all the children and especially the children who were spotted by the Four Shires Swimming Club. Thank you to Mrs Woolley for organising this event.
